Anna and Michael Olson
Anna & Michael fell in love in the kitchen. Sixteen years ago, they met and worked together at Inn on the Twenty in the Niagara region, where Michael was Executive Chef and Anna Pastry Chef.
Before meeting Anna, Michael spent many years leading kitchens in Ottawa, Oakville and Toronto after graduating from George Brown College, and after making his way from his Saskatchewan roots. Anna arrived in Niagara from New Orleans, Texas and Colorado, after graduating from Johnson & Wales University.
Anna & Michael both collaborate and work independently. Michael teaches culinary arts at Niagara College and Anna is host of 3 cooking shows on Food Network: “Sugar” and “Fresh with Anna Olson” and her latest, “Bake! With Anna Olson”. The couple has 7 cookbooks, with two a team effort, and they have recently launched their new App, the “Olson Recipe Maker” available for iPad and iPhone, Android and on the Amazon App Store.
Embracing an enthusiastic but relaxed approach to professional and home cooking is a key philosophy for the Olson’s, along with a common sense approach to cooking seasonally with locally sourced ingredients.

Bruno grew up surrounded by flowers on his family’s farm in Madeira. Much like his Belgian contemporaries, his approach to floral design is both sculptural and emotional, blending organic materials and found objects together to create works of art. When he’s not at his studio, Bruno can be found creating arrangements in front of a live audience. He frequently appears on local and national television programs, and gives floral demonstrations at Home and Garden shows.

Stephane has been obsessed with Christmas forever. Ever since he first left a plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookie and a beer out for Santa. From that moment on he recognized everyone is an individual and loves different things over the holidays. That was a turning point in Stephane’s holiday life. Do I continue to entertain Santa and his reindeer once a year or do I focus on holiday decor that can last for months and months? Since that pivoting moment Stephane has been finding ways to bring the spirit of Christmas to every possible corner in his house and many others. Now working as a prop and decor stylist in Toronto and Muskoka, not only has Stephane made this his passion, he has made this his career. Stephane has had the privilege of working on everything holiday, from snow banks made of 2000 Christmas balls to his most recent venture—decorating a 14 foot Christmas tree on a lobster fishing boat in Nova Scotia for the most recent Joe Fresh Christmas campaign coming to a PC store near you. He is thrilled to be working with Urban Rustic Living in this year’s ‘Twas the Month Before Christmas and looks forward to sharing his Christmas magic with you.
